Name: Angi Webster but you can call me Prattylessfatty
Family Status: Married to the most witty man on earth. Blessed with an ornery ginger 9 years ago and a superbaby who is about to turn 2!
Occupation: I am lucky enough to find and train foster parents for children In Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska with TFI Family Services, a non-profit child welfare agency
Running Background: I ran my first mile since high school last May, and joined the Start2Finish program with GoRun in June. I have run 501 miles in that year, which included 3 half marathons.
What are you hoping to gain from your experience as a Local Joe?: I was the nervous, out of shape girl, huffing and puffing at mile 2 a year ago. I can’t wait to run next to the new batch, hearing their stories, encouraging them and meeting veteran runners who will stretch and teach me as well.
What is your biggest fear about being a Local Joe?: The huffing and puffing at mile 15 and possible death at mile 20
Favorite Workout Tune: I jam out to a mix of genres, but my latest loves are “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World and “Happy” by Pharrell. They are both around 160bpm which forces my feet to run around a 9:30 mile.
Angi blogs about here adventures too.
